Iron Latch is a {{convert|4.3|hectare|acre|adj=on}} nature reserve in Eight Ash Green, west of Colchester in Essex.{{cite web|url= http://www.essexwt.org.uk/reserves/iron-latch|title=Iron Latch |publisher=Essex Wildlife Trust|access-date= 6 July 2016}}

The site consists of areas of species-rich grassland and ash woodland. Bird's foot trefoil provides food for common blue butterflies, and other butterflies include purple hairstreaks. Nightingales nest in the trees and hedges.
