Premise

In the beginning, the drama revolved around two powerful taxi business families in Bhubesini: the Zungus, led by Mpiyakhe Zungu, and the Ndlovu family, led by Samson Ndlovu. It focused on their conflicts, rivalries, daily lives, and the issues surrounding them. They are united by the marriage of their two children: Thandeka and S'busiso of the Zungus and Ndlovus, respectively. In a taxi war, another man arrives with his family. Judas Ngwenya with his wife Beauty Ngwenya and their children, Zama Ngwenya, his son Qaphela Ngwenya, and Beauty’s stepson. Judas worked for Mpiyakhe Zungu while secretly plotting against the Zungus. They lived with Beauty's mother Lillian Nyandeni and his nephew Jerry Nyandeni. Lillian later married Saddam Xaba who was Judas's right hand man. But Judas was killed by his son Qaphela Ngwenya.
