The inaugural tournament was held from 27 April to 3 May 2015 at the "Koza World of Sports" facility, which is promoted as the largest tennis academy in the world. The center court featured a retractable roof and provided seating for 7,500 people. Two other clay show courts raised available seating to 9,500. The tournament was discontinued in 2018.{{cite web |title=ATP 2019 calendar: Córdoba replaces Quito and the Istanbul tournament disappears |url=https://www.barcelonaopenbancsabadell.com/en/news/atp-2019-calendar-cordoba-replaces-quito-and-istanbul-tournament-disappears?language=ca |website=Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell |date=13 November 2018 |access-date=29 April 2019 |archive-date=30 April 2019 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20190430032345/https://www.barcelonaopenbancsabadell.com/en/news/atp-2019-calendar-cordoba-replaces-quito-and-istanbul-tournament-disappears%3Flanguage%3Dca |url-status=dead }}{{cite web |author1=Luigi Gatto |title=ATP 2019 Calendar released: Istanbul is not there! |url=https://www.tennisworldusa.org/tennis/news/Tennis_Stories/51517/atp-2019-calendar-released-istanbul-is-not-there/ |website=Tennis World |date=31 January 2018}}
