Isturits ({{IPA|fr|istyʁits}}; {{Langx|eu|Izturitze}}; also Isturitz) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in south-western France.
It is located in the former province of Lower Navarre (Arberoa).[https://aunamendi.eusko-ikaskuntza.eus/en/isturits/ar-71697/ ISTURITS], Auñamendi Eusko Entziklopedia {{in lang|es}}
The Isturitz and Oxocelhaya caves are an important Paleolithic site where a Neanderthal mandible was found, as well as later modern human finds associated with the Aurignacian, Solutrean and Magdalenian. They also include cave paintings and bone flutes.{{in lang|fr}} Dominique Buisson, [https://www.persee.fr/doc/bspf_0249-7638_1990_hos_87_10_9925 Les flûtes paléolithiques d'Isturitz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques)], Bulletin de la Société préhistorique française (1990), 420-433
