John Dave Schickerling (born 9 May 1995 in Calvinia, South Africa) is a South African rugby union player for the {{Rut|Stormers}} in Super Rugby and {{Rut|Western Province}} in the Currie Cup and in the Rugby Challenge.{{SA Rugby Player Profile | id=110041 | name=JD Schickerling | date=29 May 2016}} He regularly plays as a lock.

As a scholar at Paarl Gimnasium, he earned a call-up to the {{Rut|Western Province}} squad for the 2012 Under-18 Craven Week competition.
