Leonard George "Jack"{{cite news |url=http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article55925732 |title=Sturt Pick Men To Train|newspaper=The Mail |location=Adelaide |date=16 April 1949 |accessdate=29 January 2016 |page=19 |via=National Library of Australia}} Giles (17 June 1921 – 23 August 1994) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Sturt in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL),{{cite book|last1=Lysikatos|first1=John|title=We Are Sturt - Vol.1 1901-1944|date=2015|publisher=Newstyle Printing|location=Mile End, South Australia|isbn=978-0-9943026-0-1|page=206|edition=First}} and cricketer, who represented South Australia. He was appointed captain of Sturt in 1949.

In 1942 he enlisted in the Australian Defence Force, joining the 112th Australian Light Anti Aircraft Regiment,{{cite web |title=World War 2 Nominal Roll |url=https://nominal-rolls.dva.gov.au/veteran?id=686475&c=WW2#R |url-status= |publisher=National Archives of Australia}} and in 1943 he played one game for Richmond in the Victorian Football League.
