Jack Hobbs (28 September 1893 – 4 June 1968) was a British stage and film actor who appeared in more than forty films.{{cite web|url=http://www.bfi.org.uk/films-tv-people/4ce2b9f46c515|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20170922014427/http://www.bfi.org.uk/films-tv-people/4ce2b9f46c515|url-status=dead|archive-date=22 September 2017|title=Jack Hobbs}} After making his debut in the 1915 silent The Yoke Hobbs appeared in a mixture of leading and supporting roles in both the silent and sound eras.
