Jahnavi Phalkey is a historian, specializing in the history of science and technology. In 2023, she was awarded the Infosys Prize.

Early life and education

After completing a B.A. from Elphinstone College and an M.A. from the University of Mumbai, she went on to obtain an M.Sc. from the School of Oriental and African Studies in 1996.
