Jaime Zapata (26 November 1957) is an Ecuadorian painter.South American explorer - Issues 70-77 2003 - Page 22 "In a stairwell at the Museum of the City, hang a series of three paintings by the contemporary Quiteno painter, Jaime Zapata. They're remarkable, depicting scenes of the Conquest. The middle one shows the arrival of the Spanish."
