Jaipur District is a district in the state of Rajasthan in Northern India.the city of Jaipur, which is Rajasthan's capital and the largest city, is the district headquarters. Jaipur has a sex ratio of 909 females for every 1000 males, and a literacy rate of 76.44%. 52.40% of the population lives in urban areas. Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes make up 15.14% and 7.97% of the population respectively.
