Musical style
Jambinai are known for combining rock music instrumentation (drums, bass guitar, electric guitar) with the use of traditional Korean folk music instruments (haegeum, piri, geomungo). Furthermore, they have been compared to bands like Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and Mogwai.{{cite web |url=http://noisey.vice.com/nl/blog/jambinai-korean-instruments-post-rock |title=De Koreaanse post-rockband Jambinai maakt hedendaagse muziek met een oude ziel |language=Dutch |last1=Bryan |first1=Beverly |date=23 May 2016 |website=Vice |access-date=28 July 2016}}{{cite web |url=http://www.thelineofbestfit.com/reviews/albums/jambinai-a-hermitage |title=Jambinai channel the wrath and isolation of South Korean youth |last1=Jowett |first1=Tom |date=9 June 2016 |website=The Line of Best Fit |access-date=28 July 2016}}{{cite web |url=https://consequence.net/2016/06/album-review-jambinai-a-hermitage/ |title=Jambinai – A Hermitage |last1=Kivel |first1=Adam |date=22 June 2016 |website=Consequence of Sound |access-date=28 July 2016}}{{cite web |url=http://3voor12.vpro.nl/lokaal/gelderland/nieuws/2016/Vierdaagsefeesten-2016/Donderdag/4df-Jambinai.html |title=#4DF16: Jambinai voert Valkhof mee op fraaie Koreaanse postrocktrip |language=Dutch |last1=Oostrum |first1=Robin |date=22 July 2016 |website=3voor12 |access-date=28 July 2016}}
