James M. Baley Jr.

James M. Baley Jr. (1912–2003[http://nclawyersweekly.com/category/obituaries/page/12/ NC Lawyers Weekly] (subscription required for full text)) was an American lawyer and judge. A Republican, he served in the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing Madison County, in the General Assemblies of 1937-38 and 1939–40.{{Cite web|url=https://archive.org/stream/northcarolinaman1937nort/northcarolinaman1937nort_djvu.txt|title = North Carolina manual [serial]}}{{Cite web|url=https://archive.org/details/northcarolinaman1939nort|title = North Carolina manual [serial]}} He served as United States Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina under President Dwight D. Eisenhower from 1953 through 1961.
