Janula is a genus of comb-footed spiders that was first described by Embrik Strand in 1932.{{cite journal| last=Strand| first=E.| year=1932| title=Miscellanea nomenclatorica zoologica et palaeontologica, III, IV| journal=Folia Zoologica et Hydrobiologica, Rigā| pages=193–196| volume=4| author-link=Embrik Strand}} It is a senior synonym of Monetoculus.
