The {{nihongo|Japanese Movie Database|日本映画データベース|Nihon Eiga Dētabēsu}}, more commonly known as simply JMDb, is an online database of information about Japanese movies, actors, and production crew personnel.{{cite web|last=Inano|first=Tomohisa|title=Research on Japanese Cinema|url=http://www.columbia.edu/~hds2/BIB95/00cinema_inano.htm|access-date=2007-06-19|publisher=Columbia University}} It is similar to the Internet Movie Database but lists only those films initially released in Japan. Y.
