Jared Brown (born April 27, 1973) is an American former professional football quarterback who played one season with the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League. He played college football at Sacramento City College and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Early life

College career

Brown was a two-year starter at Sacramento City College from 1991 to 1992. Brown transferred to the play for the UNLV Rebels of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1993. He played in eight games, starting five, in 1994, completing 102 of 209 passes (48.8%) for 1,154 yards, five touchdowns, and eight interceptions while also rushing for 15 yards and a touchdown. Brown appeared in 11 games during his senior year in 1995, recording 147 completions on 304 passing attempts (48.4%) for 1,783 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. Professional career
