The javelin frog (Litoria microbelos) is a species of frog in the subfamily Pelodryadinae, that is endemic to Australia. The javelin frog is the smallest known tree frog in Australia, with males reaching {{Convert|16|mm|in|abbr=on}} and females {{Convert|18|mm|in|abbr=on}} in length.{{cite book|author=Marion Anstis|author-link=Marion Anstis|title =Tadpoles and Frogs of Australia|publisher =New Holland Publishers|year =2013|pages=245–248|isbn =9781921517167}} Colours are typically brown with a light-brown dorsal surface, dark-brown lateral stripes and light, almost white, ventral surface. A white stripe runs along the lip and along the side of the frog.
