Jay-R Taganas (born September 1, 1987) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Pangasinan Heatwaves franchise of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) and Pilipinas Super League (PSL).

In 2022, he would move to the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards franchise where he won two championships, one in FilBasket and one in the MPBL.
