Jay Hoyland Arnette (born December 19, 1938{{cite web |title=Jay Arnette |url=https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/arnetja01.html |website=basketball-reference.com |access-date=June 7, 2015}}) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the Texas Longhorns.{{Cite web |title=Jay Arnette (1973) - Hall of Honor |url=https://texaslonghorns.com/honors/hall-of-honor/jay-arnette/520 |access-date=2025-02-25 |website=University of Texas Athletics |language=en}} Arnette played professionally for the Cincinnati Royals of the NBA from 1963 to 1965.

While playing basketball Arnette attended a dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry.
