Design
The Beniguet is a recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. It has a fractional sloop rig. The hull has a raked stem, an angled transom, a transom-hung rudder controlled by a tiller and a fixed long keel. It displaces {{convert|838|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} and carries {{convert|287|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} of ballast.
The boat has a draft of {{convert|1.64|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the standard keel, allowing operation in shallow water, or ground transportation on a trailer.
When new, the boat could be factory optionally equipped with a diesel inboard engine for docking and maneuvering.
The design has sleeping accommodation for two people, with a double "V"-berth in the cabin.
The design has a hull speed of {{convert|5.02|kn|km/h|abbr=on}}.
