Jens Marklof FRS is a German mathematician working in the areas of quantum chaos, dynamical systems, equidistribution, modular forms and number theory.{{cite web|url=http://www.maths.bris.ac.uk/~majm|title=Jens Marklof's Homepage|author=Jens Marklof}}{{cite web|url=http://www.maths.bris.ac.uk/people/faculty/majm/|title=Prof Jens Marklof|author=University of Bristol}} He will be president of the London Mathematical Society in the period 2023-2024.

Marklof is currently professor of mathematical physics at the University of Bristol, UK.

Education

Awards and honours
