Career
Jeremy Tardy started acting in theater at the age of five. All throughout his school life he struggled with his grades when he began to focus on acting, saying, "I did not indulge in most things that kids my age were into...The biggest challenge I have faced was the challenge of staying on the right track as a teenager...I have had many friends get caught up in the street life and the trouble that comes with it." Jeremy's hard work earned him acceptance into Juilliard School.{{cite web|url=http://sengifted.org/rising-to-juilliard-a-profile-of-a-gifted-young-actor/|title=Rising to Juilliard: A Profile of a Gifted Young Actor|website=Sengifted|author=SENG Editorial Staff|date=March 2010|accessdate=July 31, 2017}} In 2016, he was cast as Rashid Bakr in the Netflix television adaptation as Dear White People.{{cite web|url=https://deadline.com/2016/09/dear-white-people-jeremy-tardy-recur-netflix-comedy-series-1201824334/|title='Dear White People': Jeremy Tardy To Recur On Netflix Comedy Series|last=Petski|first=Denise|website=Deadline|date=September 21, 2016|accessdate=July 31, 2017}} He was cast as Night Thrasher in New Warriors on Freeform,{{cite web|url=https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/marvels-new-warriors-squirrel-girl-cast-milana-vayntrub-derek-theler-topline-freeform-comedy-1019588|title=Marvel's 'New Warriors' Sets Its Cast — Including Squirrel Girl (Exclusive)|last=Goldberg|first=Lesley|website=The Hollywood Reporter|date=July 10, 2017|accessdate=July 31, 2017}} but the series would remain unaired before getting cancelled.{{cite web|url=https://thegww.com/exclusive-marvels-new-warriors-is-dead-superhero-show-fails-to-find-a-new-home/|title=Exclusive: Marvel's 'New Warriors is Dead; Superhero Show Fails to Find a New Home|last=Polito|first=Thomas|website=The GWW|date=September 15, 2019|accessdate=September 15, 2019|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20190916081056/https://thegww.com/exclusive-marvels-new-warriors-is-dead-superhero-show-fails-to-find-a-new-home/|archivedate=September 16, 2019|url-status=live}} On September 12, 2020, he left Dear White People and he will not appear in its final season.
