He starred in the film De grens, which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1984 Cannes Film Festival.{{cite web |url=http://www.festival-cannes.com/en/archives/ficheFilm/id/1357/year/1984.html |title=Festival de Cannes: De grens |access-date=24 June 2009|work=festival-cannes.com}} In 1998, he won the Golden Calf for Best Actor for his role in the movie Felice...Felice....
