John Barton ({{circa|1934}} – 1994) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s and 1960s. He played at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Leigh,{{cite web|url=https://leighrl.co.uk/wp/team_member/barton-jack|title=Statistics at leighrl.co.uk|publisher=leighrl.co.uk|date=31 December 2017|accessdate=1 January 2018}} and Wigan, as a {{rlp|pr}}.

John Barton won caps for Great Britain while at Wigan in 1960 against France, and in 1961 against New Zealand.
