John Fitzgerald Thierry (September 4, 1971 – November 24, 2017) was an American professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Chicago Bears in the first round (11th overall pick) of the 1994 NFL draft.{{Cite web |title=1994 NFL Draft Listing |url=https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/1994/draft.htm |access-date=2023-03-31 |website=Pro-Football-Reference.com |language=en}} A {{convert|6|ft|4|in|adj=on}}, {{convert|263|lb|adj=on}} linebacker from Alcorn State University, Thierry was moved to defensive end and played in nine NFL seasons from 1994 to 2002.
