John W. Huber (born 1967) is an American lawyer who served as the United States Attorney for the District of Utah from June 2015 to February 2021. Education and legal career
Huber graduated with honors from the University of Utah in 1989. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah College of Law in 1995. Huber began his career in the Weber County, Utah Attorney's Office, later serving as the chief prosecutor for West Valley City, Utah. In 2002, he joined the U.S. Attorney's Office, and in 2005 he became an Assistant United States Attorney.{{cite news|last1=Manson|first1=Pamela|title=Huber to stay as Utah's U.S. attorney during transition period|url=http://www.sltrib.com/home/5063282-155/huber-to-stay-as-interim-utahs|access-date=23 June 2017 |website=Salt Lake Tribune|date=March 15, 2017}} He has prosecuted firearms crimes, including the case of four people involved with firearms used in the 2007 Trolley Square shooting.
