Jonathan Weil

(2006–2007), an investment-research and proxy-advisory firm in Broomfield, Colorado. Before that, he was a reporter for The Wall Street Journal (1997–2005), where he wrote about accounting and finance. He began his career as a reporter at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (1995–1997).

Weil was a Gerald Loeb Award finalist in 2002 and won the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Excellence in Financial Journalism Award in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. He won Society of American Business Editors and Writers Best in Business Journalism Awards in 2009, and 2010.
