Joseph Bower (dates of birth and death unknown) was an English first-class cricketer.

Bower made his debut in first-class cricket for Hampshire against Cambridge University at Fenner's in 1897,{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/6/6498/First-Class_Matches.html|title=First-Class Matches played by Joseph Bower|publisher=CricketArchive|access-date=9 April 2024|url-access=subscription}} with him taking three wickets for 55 runs in the Cambridge first innings; Hampshire eventually lost the match by an innings.{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/4/4776.html|title=Cambridge University v Hampshire, University Match 1897|publisher=CricketArchive|access-date=9 April 2024|url-access=subscription}} He made a further first-class appearance in 1897 against the touring Gentlemen of Philadelphia at Bournemouth, during which he took his career-best figures of 4 for 43,{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/4/4811.html|title=Hampshire v Gentlemen of Philadelphia, Gentlemen of Philadelphia in England 1897|publisher=CricketArchive|access-date=9 April 2024|url-access=subscription}} before making a final appearance in the 1898 County Championship against Lancashire at Old Trafford.
