Josh Scherr is an American video game writer and designer best known for his work on the Uncharted series.

Education

Career

He worked on several films, including Los Gringos (1999) and Dinosaur (2000), before joining Naughty Dog in 2001. He has been a staff writer for Naughty Dog since early 2014, co-writing Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (2016) with Neil Druckmann, and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (2017) with Shaun Escayg. On July 15, 2022, Scherr announced his departure from Naughty Dog after 21 years with the company. In October 2022, he announced he had joined new studio Crop Circle Games as narrative director; the studio was shuttered in March 2024.
