Juliet Valpy

Juliet Anna Owen Valpy Mackworth (23 August 1835 – 9 April 1911) was a New Zealand artist, and one of six children of William Henry Valpy and Caroline Valpy (born Jeffreys), a pioneering family who arrived in Dunedin, New Zealand in January 1849 aboard the Ajax.{{Cite web|title = Ajax list|url = http://www.ngaiopress.com/ajaxlist.htm |website = www.ngaiopress.com|access-date = 2015-10-25}}{{Cite book|title = The Book of New Zealand Women|editor-last = Macdonald|editor-first = Charlotte |publisher = Bridget Williams Books|year = 1991|location = Wellington, New Zealand|pages = 702–704}} She was born in Sikraul Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, where her father was a judge.

Valpy married Bayly Pike, and had four children with him.
