KSWV (810 AM) is a commercial radio station broadcasting a classic hits format featuring music from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. It is licensed to Santa Fe, New Mexico, and is owned by Celina Gonzales, through licensee GCBendito 4 LLC.{{cite web|url=http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/amq?call=KSWV |title=KSWV Facility Record |work=United States Federal Communications Commission, audio division }} Some hours it also plays New Mexico music. The studios and offices are co-located with the publication Santa Fe Today on Taos Street in Santa Fe.

By day, KSWV is powered at 5,000 watts, with a non-directional signal that extends into Albuquerque. But 810 AM is a United States clear-channel frequency. To avoid interference, at night KSWV must greatly reduce power to 10 watts to protect the skywave signals of the Class A stations KSFO in San Francisco and WGY in Schenectady. The transmitter is off Buckman Road in Santa Fe. Programming is also heard on 250-watt FM translator K260CT at 99.9 MHz in Santa Fe.

History

The station went on the air as KAFE in {{start date and age|1966}}. It later became KMIK on July 22, 1987.

In 1991, the KMIK was acquired by George Abrán Gonzales, who has served as the mayor of Santa Fe from 1968 to 1972.{{cite news|title=Santa Fe mayor's father, George Gonzales — a former mayor — dies |url=http://www.santafenewmexican.com/news/local_news/santa-fe-mayor-s-father-george-gonzales-a-former-mayor/article_762b085b-e0a7-56b0-87d4-a3534d61f763.html |work=The Santa Fe New Mexican |date=2015-03-24 |access-date=2015-07-03}} Gonzalez changed the station's call sign to KSWV (Que Suave) on November 11, 1991.{{cite web|url=http://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/call_hist.pl?Facility_id=36194&Callsign=KSWV |title=KSWV Call Sign History |work=United States Federal Communications Commission, audio division }} He operated the station with his four sons.

On February 17, 2016 a construction permit was granted by the FCC to move translator K294BS out of Hereford, Texas to Santa Fe, New Mexico to rebroadcast KSWV at 99.9 MHz giving the station a 250 watt FM signal.{{Cite web|url=https://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/forms/prod/cdbsmenu.hts?context=25&appn=101719361&formid=349&fac_num=139602|title=CDBS Print|website=licensing.fcc.gov}} La Voz Broadcasting had purchased the translator from Educational Media Foundation in January 2016.{{Cite web|url=https://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/cdbs/forms/prod/cdbsmenu.hts?context=25&appn=101718531&formid=345&fac_num=139602|title=CDBS Print|website=licensing.fcc.gov}} A license for the translator at the new frequency and community of license as K260CT was issued on September 30, 2016.

Effective November 22, 2017, the licenses for KSWV and translator K260CT were transferred from La Voz Broadcasting to GCBendito 4 LLC; both entities are owned by Celina Gonzales.

In early 2019 the station changed formats from Spanish variety to classic hits.
