Kang Kalan is a village in Shahkot in Jalandhar district of Punjab State, India. It is located {{convert|15|km}} from Shahkot, {{convert|34|km}} from Nakodar, {{convert|48|km}} from district headquarter Jalandhar and {{convert|189|km}} from state capital Chandigarh. The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per Panchayati raj (India).

Partition

Before partition of Indo-Pak, mainly arain families were living in this village, who mostly migrated to Faisalabad- Pakistan.
