Kargapolsky District ({{langx|ru|Каргапольский райо́н}}) is an administrativeLaw #316 and municipalLaw #419 district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kurgan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is {{convert|3220|km2|sp=us}}.{{citation needed|date=August 2011}} Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Kargapolye. Population: {{ru-census2010|31,832|;}} 34,854 (2002 Census);{{ru-pop-ref|2002Census}} {{su-census1989|38,518|.}} The population of Kargapolye accounts for 26.5% of the district's total population.
