Early life and education

Career
After graduation, Durst worked as an animator for five years. In 2018, Durst began collaborating with musician Paul McCartney to create illustrations for a children's book, Hey Grandude![https://ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/1148685/hey-grandude-paul-mccartney-kathryn-durst-illustratrice-toronto-livre-jeunesse-collaboration "Paul McCartney collabore avec une illustratrice de Toronto pour un livre jeunesse"].
