Life and career
Tezuka was born in Tokyo, Japan on August 31, 1912.{{cite book |title=Mothra Movie Encyclopedia |date=July 2011 |publisher=Yosensha |isbn=978-4862487612 |page=99}} His first credited role in a motion picture was in the 1940 film Haruyo Izuko.
