Early life
Tur is the daughter of journalists Zoey Tur and Marika Gerrard. From 2006 to 2009, Tur was in a relationship with then-MSNBC political commentator and sportscaster Keith Olbermann who openly claims to have edited and even written many of her news reports, as well as advising many of her career choices, paying off her student loans, and the rent to her apartment for a year after they separated.
