Born in Rio de Janeiro, Kayky was initially rejected a place in the Fluminense academy, as the club had filled their spaces, and instead joined local side Mangueira. Kayky made his debut for Sparta Rotterdam on 19 October 2024 in a 2 all draw.This was his first game in over a year since his injury.

==New loan to Bahia ==

On February 6, 2025, Kayky signed for Bahia, returning to the club on a new loan, mainly as a replacement for forward Biel that was sold to Sporting His first game back was the 2-0 victory against Juazeirense on February 22, where he was subbed on in the second half. He scored his first goal back at the Campeonato Baiano final against rival Vitória, tiyng the game 1-1 and sealing the championship for his club.
