The Kedron Division is a former local government area of Queensland, Australia, located in northern Brisbane.
History
Nundah Division was one of the original divisions created on 11 November 1879 under the Divisional Boards Act of 1879 with a population of 4270.{{Gazette QLD|title=Proclamation [Nundah Division constituted]|volume=25|page=993|date=11 November 1879}}
The division was a large one, ranging from the Pine River in the north to the Brisbane River in the south and from Moreton Bay in the east to Chinaman's Creek (now South Pine River) in the west. The residents in the southern part of the division (the Toombul area) felt their needs were quite distinct from those further north and immediately began to agitate for the division to be split.{{cite news |url=http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article20329805 |title=NUNDAH DIVISION. |newspaper=The Queenslander |location=Brisbane |date=29 November 1879 |access-date=25 August 2013 |page=678 |publisher=National Library of Australia}} On 1 November 1883, the Toombul Division was separated from the Nundah Division.{{cite QSA Agency|246|Kedron Divisional Board|25 August 2013}}{{Gazette QLD|title=Proclamation [Toombul Division constituted]|volume=33|page=1183-1184|date=3 November 1883}}{{Gazette QLD|title=Proclamation [Nundah Division amended]|volume=33|page=1183|date=3 November 1883}}{{cite QSA Agency|1895|Toombul Divisional Board|25 August 2013}}
In January 1901, Nundah Division was renamed Kedron Division.{{cite QSA Agency|246|Kedron Divisional Board|22 August 2013}}
