{{nihongo|Kentaro Sonoura|薗浦 健太郎|Sonoura Kentarō|extra=born June 3, 1972}} is a former Japanese politician who served in the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). He represented the 5th District of Chiba prefecture as a member of the Liberal Democratic Party. A native of Takamatsu, Kagawa and graduate of the University of Tokyo, he worked as a reporter for the Yomiuri Shimbun and as an aide to Taro Aso. Sonoura was elected for the first time in the 2005 general election after an unsuccessful run in 2003.
