Club career

=FC Tokyo=

Considered one of the best prospects in FC Tokyo's youth ranks, he first joined the first-team squad from the 2011 J.League Division 2 season.{{Cite web|url=http://www.fctokyo.co.jp/?p=146638|title = FC東京オフィシャルホームページlF.C.TOKYO}} He didn't manage to amass much playing time in the squad, so Hashimoto was loaned to Roasso Kumamoto for the 2013 and 2014 seasons.{{Cite web|url=http://roasso-k.com/news/news_view.htm?id=294|title=トップページ|ロアッソ熊本 公式サイト|Roasso Kumamoto Official Website}}

=Rostov=

On 9 July 2020, Russian Premier League club FC Rostov announced that they had reached an agreement with FC Tokyo for Hashimoto's transfer, and he would move pending a medical. The Japanese footballer signed a 4-year contract with Rostov after arriving in Russia and completing the medical exam.{{cite web|publisher=FC Rostov|url=http://www.fc-rostov.ru/press/news/13629|title=В Ростов прибудет Кенто Хашимото|trans-title=Kento Hashimoto will arrive to Rostov|date=9 July 2020|language=ru|access-date=9 July 2020|archive-date=19 October 2020|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20201019183917/http://www.fc-rostov.ru/press/news/13629|url-status=dead}} On 23 August 2020, he scored his first goal for Rostov to secure a 1–0 away victory over FC Ufa.{{cite web|publisher=Russian Premier League|url=https://eng.premierliga.ru/news/rfpl/news_25414.html|title=Hashimoto heads late Rostov winner against 10-man Ufa|date=23 August 2020}} In their next game 3 days later he once again scored the only goal of the game to beat FC Ural Yekaterinburg 1–0.{{cite web|publisher=Russian Premier League|url=https://eng.premierliga.ru/news/rfpl/news_25436.html|title=Hashimoto bags winner for Rostov|date=26 August 2020}}

On 19 February 2021, Rostov removed Hashimoto from their official squad as registered with the league. That was expected to be temporary, as Russian clubs are only allowed to have 8 foreign players registered at the same time, and Hashimoto was injured at the time.{{cite web|publisher=Sport24|url=https://sport24.ru/news/football/2021-02-19-rostov-vremenno-otzayavil-khashimoto-iz-za-limita-na-legionerov|title="Ростов" временно отзаявил Хашимото из-за лимита на легионеров|date=19 February 2021|language=ru}} He was returned to the squad list on 24 February after the loan of David Toshevski freed up a foreign player spot.{{RPL player|Hasimoto-Kento}}

==Loan to Vissel Kobe==

On 27 March 2022, Hashimoto returned to Japan and signed for Vissel Kobe firstly on a three-month transfer from Russia's FC Rostov after a FIFA ruling temporarily freezing the contracts of foreign players signed with Russian clubs and allowing them to go elsewhere.{{cite web|publisher=Vissel Kobe|url=https://twitter.com/visselkobe/status/1507991084118409218|title=【移籍加入のお知らせ】MF橋本拳人選手がFC ロストフより移籍加入することに決まりました。|date=27 March 2022|language=ja}} On 1 July 2022, his contract was officially extended for an undisclosed period.{{cite web|url=https://www.vissel-kobe.co.jp/news/article/20250.html|title=MF橋本拳人選手 契約延長のお知らせ|trans-title=About Hashimoto's contract extension|access-date=1 July 2022|language=ja}}
