Kevin M. Early life and education

Guskiewicz was born and raised in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He played football and tennis at Greater Latrobe High School, a public high school in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.Skubek, Randy. Guskiewicz received a Bachelor of Science with a major in athletic training from West Chester University in Pennsylvania in 1989. He received a Master of Science in exercise physiology/athletic training from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992 and a Doctor of Philosophy in sports medicine from the University of Virginia in 1995.{{Cite web |title=KEVIN M. Guskiewicz was a neuroscientist, sports medicine researcher, and the Kenan Distinguished Professor at UNC-Chapel Hill.
