Kimberly Jean-Pierre is an American politician who served as a member of the New York Assembly for the 11th district, which includes portions of the town of Babylon in Suffolk County. Early life and education
Jean-Pierre is of Haitian-American descent, and graduated from Brooklyn College and later received a master's degree in public policy from Stony Brook University.{{Cite web|url=https://thehaitianroundtable.org/personnel/hon-kimberly-jean-pierre/|title=Hon. New York State Assembly

In 2022, Jean-Pierre was narrowly reelected by under 1% against Republican. She announced that she would not run for reelection in 2024 days after the candidate filing deadline, allowing the Suffolk County Democratic Party to replace her on the ballot without a primary.
