Kiskunság

Kiskunság ("Little Cumania", {{langx|la|Cumania Minor}}{{cite news|url = https://lexikon.katolikus.hu/J/J%C3%A1szkun%20Ker%C3%BClet.html|title=Jászkun Kerület|publisher=Magyar Katolikus Lexikon }}) is a historical and geographical region in Hungary situated in the current Bács-Kiskun}} between Kalocsa and Szeged. Its territory is 2,423 km². Like other historical European regions called Cumania, it is named for the Cumans ({{Langx|hu|Kunok}}), a historically very significant nomadic tribe.
