Kitsissuarsuit (old spelling: Kitsigsuarssuit) is a settlement in Qeqertalik municipality in western Greenland. The settlement was formerly founded in 1830 as Hunde Ejlande or Dog's Island,Ross, James. Geography

Kitsissuarsuit is located on a small, {{convert|6|km2|mi2|1|abbr=on}} island in southern Disko Bay, {{convert|21|km|mi|1|abbr=on}}[http://www.aasiaatmuseum.gl/Kommunen%20eng.html Aasiaat Museum]{{dead link|date=December 2017 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }} north of Aasiaat.
