Kohinurākau or Kōhinerākau (also known as Mount Erin) is a {{convert|490|m|abbr=on}} mountain in the Kohinurākau Range, {{convert|8.5|km|abbr=on}} south-southwest of Havelock North in the Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand.{{Cite web|title=Kohinurākau {{!}} NZGB Gazetteer {{!}} linz.govt.nz|url=https://gazetteer.linz.govt.nz/place/58032|access-date=2021-10-12|website=gazetteer.linz.govt.nz}} The mountain is the main television and FM radio transmitter site for Napier, Hastings and the wider Hawke's Bay region.
Etymology

Transmitter
The Mount Erin television transmitter was commissioned in 1966, broadcasting Wellington's WNTV1 channel. Television arrived in the Hawke's Bay in 1963 with a private translator atop Kahurānaki, {{convert|6|km|abbr=on}} south-southeast of Kohinurākau.
