Kosewo {{IPAc-pl|k|o|'|s|e|w|o}} is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Mrągowo, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.{{cite web |url=http://www.stat.gov.pl/broker/access/prefile/listPreFiles.jspa |title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) - TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal) |date=2008-06-01 |language=pl}} It lies approximately {{convert|8|km|mi|0}} south-east of Mrągowo and {{convert|59|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

As a result of the Treaty of Versailles the 1920 East Prussian plebiscite was organized on 11 July 1920 under the control of the League of Nations, which resulted in 380 votes to remain in Germany and none for Poland.{{cite book |title=Selbstbestimmung für Ostdeutschland – Eine Dokumentation zum 50 Jahrestag der ost- und westpreussischen Volksabstimmung am 11.
