Krasnopol ({{IPAc-pl|k|r|a|s|'|n|o|p|o|l}}; {{langx|lt|Krasnapolis}}{{Sfn|VLKK|2002}}) is a village in Sejny County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.{{cite web|url=http://www.stat.gov.pl/broker/access/prefile/listPreFiles.jspa|title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) - TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal)|date=2008-06-01|language=Polish}} It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Krasnopol. It lies approximately {{convert|11|km|mi|0}} west of Sejny and {{convert|111|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north of the regional capital Białystok.

Krasnopol was founded in 1770 on the order of Antoni Tyzenhauz in the Opidemie forest on the road from Sejny to Wigry and Suwałki. It was probably granted town privileges in 1782.
