Krishna Mohan Shrestha

Krishna Mohan Shrestha ({{langx|ne|कृष्णमोहन श्रेष्ठ}}) was the first Inspector General of Armed Police Force (Nepal).

Shrestha was killed by the Maoist insurgents {{cite web|url=http://www.albawaba.com/news/maoists-kill-chief-nepal-armed-police-force|title=Maoists kill chief of Nepal armed police force|work=Al Bawaba}} during the Maoist insurgency in Nepal.{{cite web|url=https://www.nytimes.com/2003/01/26/world/nepal-s-police-chief-killed.html|title=Nepal's Police Chief Killed|date=26 January 2003|work=Agence France-Presse|via=The New York Times}} Krishna Mohan along with his wife and bodyguard was assassinated on the morning of 25 January 2003 by gunmen in Lalitpur, while he was taking a morning walk as they used to do on Sunday mornings, intending to represent general safety to fellow citizens.
