Kronheimer–Mrowka basic class
In mathematics, the Kronheimer–Mrowka basic classes are elements of the second cohomology of a simply connected, smooth 4-manifold of simple type that determine its Donaldson polynomials. They were introduced by {{harvs|txt | last1=Kronheimer | first1=Peter B.| author1-link=Peter Kronheimer| last2=Mrowka | first2=Tomasz S. |author2-link=Tomasz Mrowka| year1=1994 |year2=1995}}.
