Kurkliai (Yiddish: קורקלע; {{langx|pl|Kurkle}}) is a town in Anykščiai district municipality, in Utena County, in northeast Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the town has a population of 374 people.{{cite web|url=http://statistics.bookdesign.lt/table_125_06.htm?lang=en|title=2011 census|publisher=Statistikos Departamentas (Lithuania)|access-date=August 14, 2017}} Center of eldership. In town there is Anykščiai Regional Park.
History
The town had an important Jewish community before World War II.
