L'eau rouge (French for The Red Water) is the second album by industrial band The Young Gods, released in September 1989 by Play It Again Sam Records.{{cite magazine |first1=Jem |last1=Aswad |first2=Greg |last2=Fasolino |url=http://trouserpress.com/entry.php?a=young_gods |title=Young Gods |magazine=Trouser Press |year=2007 |access-date=April 19, 2016}} It is usually referred to as their masterpiece and was included in 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die in 2005.
